National Conference on “Implementation of NEP 2020: Challenges and Opportunities for Educational Institutions” on 30th November, 2021 at Hotel Taj MG Road, Bengaluru.
Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) organised a National Conference on “Implementation of NEP 2020: Challenges and Opportunities for Educational Institutions” on 30th November, 2021 at Hotel Taj MG Road, Bengaluru. 300+ educationists, policy makers, industry leaders, administrators and thought leaders have attended the National Conference.
Dr. Ashwath Narayan C N, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Govt. of Karnataka inaugurated the National Conference. Dr. Anil Dattatraya Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE delivered the Key Note Address.
This one-day National Conference had the Panel Discussions on the following three topics:
- “Initiatives of the Government of Karnataka towards NEP-2020”
- “Reforms In Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment in the light of NEP-2020”
- “Aligning Indian Education System with Global Standards as Proposed by NEP-2020”
Prof. Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE in his Key Note Address said that the new National Education Policy (NEP) will help in getting international recognition for higher education. the NEP would pave way for revolutionary changes in the field of higher education in India.
Dr. Ashwath Narayan C N, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Govt. of Karnataka inaugurated the conference and delivered his inaugural address. In his inaugural address he said that the private institutions in the higher education sector must put in their efforts in bringing about social changes.
“As per the objective of the NEP, the higher education system will take a new shape in ten years and teaching-learning will become student-centric. The government wants the future of students to be bright. Keeping this in mind, quality teaching has been given prominence by considering the requirements of 21st century. Ultimately this will result in building a healthy society
