Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI), on 18th June held a roundtable discussion on “Draft National Education Policy 2019″, Specially in the context of the report submitted by The Committee for Draft National Education Policy which proposes an education policy, which seeks to address the challenges of, access, equity, quality, affordability, and accountability faced by the current Education System.

The Chief guest on the occasion was Prof. Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE. The Educationist shared their thoughts and deliberated upon the key insights to help the sector rise to the challenges of global education ecosystem and spoke about Previous Education Policies.

The roundtable Discussion on “Draft National Education Policy” was presided by Dr G Viswanathan, President, EPSI . The session was moderated by Dr H Chaturvedi, Alternate President, EPSI. Dr GD Sharma, President, SEED, New Delhi; Padma Shri Dr. Pritam Singh, Former Director, IIM, Lucknow; Chetan Sungai, Deputy Director, Ramiah Public Policy Center, Bangalore. EPSI shared their expert views amongst others.

EPSI Also Felicitated Members of Parliament, who are educational entrepreneurs and have done stupendous work in the area of Education sector.

Prof. Eric Cornuel, Director General and CEO, European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) was the Guest of Honour at the inauguration where other dignitaries includedDr G Viswanathan, Founder & Chancellor,Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Dr H Chaturvedi,Alternate President, Education Promotion Society for India,and Dr M R Jayaram, Chairman, Gokula Education Foundationwere part of the inaugural session of the conclave. The conclave will be held till 28 February, 2019 and has a thematic focus on ‘Business Education 4.0: Futurizing Indian Business Schools’.
