EPSI organized a National Conference on “The Global Race for AI & Role of Higher Education Institutions for Making India a Global Player” at Hotel Radisson, Bhopal. The event brought together leaders from education, policy, and industry to discuss India’s AI roadmap and the pivotal role of higher education institutions. Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, inaugurated the conference, and Ms. Saba Karim (LinkedIn India) delivered a keynote on AI-driven career trends. Shri Anupam Rajan, IAS, highlighted government initiatives to integrate emerging technologies into higher education.
The event included the relaunch of “The Road Ahead 2.0” and a Fireside Chat with its co-authors. Two major panel discussions focused on:
- AI in Higher Education – reshaping learning, research, and career development.
- AI Research & Innovation – positioning India as a global AI leader through collaboration, investment, and ecosystem development.
The conference emphasized bridging the academia-industry gap, fostering innovation, and empowering institutions to lead in AI research and skill-building. It reinforced India’s ambition to become a global AI hub through academic and policy collaboration.
