The National Conference focused on the transformative role of higher education in shaping India’s development trajectory leading up to 2047, the centenary year of India’s independence. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of AICTE, who highlighted key initiatives and reforms aimed at improving technical education and fostering innovation. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Shri Ramesh Bais, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, who praised the conference for creating a meaningful platform for dialogue and collaboration, and emphasized the need for united efforts in building a progressive, knowledge-driven nation.

Two key panel discussions formed the core of the conference: “Two-Way Internationalization for Making India a Hub for Higher Education” and “Creating a Quality Ecosystem Through Capacity Building for Accreditation and Ranking.” The first emphasized fostering global partnerships, student exchanges, and collaborative research to position India as a global educational hub. The second focused on strengthening accreditation mechanisms, building institutional capacity, and enhancing transparency and accountability. These sessions drew wide participation and highlighted the collective commitment to strategic reforms, innovation, and internationalization to elevate India’s higher education system to global standards.
